The Scheduled dates for club rides this year are as follows:
ANNUAL POKER RUN AND CLUB BBQ ? FEBRUARY 19
The Tom Barile Memorial Poker Run and club barbeque will be held on Sunday, February 19. All interested riders please meet at Camp LaSalle at 11:00 to register. There will be prizes and trophies for members as well as a guest category. You must ride in the poker run to be eligible for prizes. This is a great event for the entire family. Children are invited to participate; however, a parent or responsible adult must accompany all children! We are planning a short ride if conditions allow. A barbeque at Camp LaSalle will follow the ride. The club will provide hamburgers and hot dogs, chips and paper goods. Please bring your own drinks and a salad or dessert to share. The entrance to Camp LaSalle is across from the Cedar Crest Sign. As always, check the SSC Website prior to the ride in case of changes due to weather or conditions. Hope to see you there! We will have the barbeque regardless of snow conditions!
CLUB RIDE ? LUNCH AT THE DASILVA?S ? March 10
Chris and Melisa DaSilva have again offered to provide lunch for us at their home at Tamarack on Saturday, March 10. If you would like to ride over with a group, meet at the entrance to the Upper Line Creek Tract (just past the Cedar Crest Turnoff) at 11:00 a.m. If you know where the DaSilva?s live or want to find your own way, you can meet the group there about 12:00. Please bring your own drinks. If you have questions the day of the ride, call the DaSilva cabin at 893-3165 or the Bibb cabin 893-2178.
MYSTERY RIDE ? March 24
Debbie Carolan and Mark Herrold are planning a Mystery Ride on March 24. All riders please meet at the Lakeshore Sno-Park for a ride to an unknown destination! Bring your own lunch and drinks.
CLUB RIDE ? BARBEQUE ? APRIL 14
We are planning the last ride of the season in conjunction with a barbeque on April 14. The club will provide the hamburgers and hot dogs, chips and paper goods. Please bring your own drinks and a salad or dessert to share. Location will depend on snow conditions at that time. Please check the website for location the week before the ride.
All rides are tentative due to snow conditions.
CNSA CONVENTION ? PORTOLA, CA ? March 2-4
The California Nevada Snowmobile Association Right to Ride Convention will be held in Portola, CA this year. For details of the convention and weekend their website can be accessed at www.cnsa.net. Go to Areas of Interest and then select Convention.
